Keeping a Quad Ready for the 60-Inch Hill City Trail

Blue sport ATV with knobby tires parked on a concrete pad

The Hill City Trail is built 60 inches wide, so know your machine's width before you head out. Then make sure the machine is ready to go.

Good ATV maintenance is the cheap part of riding: oil, filters, brakes, belt, tire pressure and a look at the CV boots. Skip it, and a day on the Rabey Line can end with a tow.

Quadna Mountain Mud and What It Leaves Behind

Hill City is named for Quadna Mountain, the big hill at the south end of Hill Lake. The Quadna Mud Nationals, a High Lifter event at Quadna Mountain Park with a mud bog, poker run and obstacle course, ran there at least through 2015.

Mud gets everywhere: carbs, air boxes, brakes, belts. We handle off-road vehicle repairs from a carb rebuild to a full motor rebuild. For quick jobs like carb cleaning or belt replacement, we offer same day ATV service whenever possible.

Shock and Fork Rebuilds for Hill City Riders

Suspension service is a big part of what we do: shock and fork rebuilds, revalving, spring changes and new shock installs on ATVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes and snowmobiles. We're a Race Tech and Ride Concept dealer and we install HSPD steering dampers.

A rebuilt shock with the right spring changes how a machine handles on rough trail. Tell us your weight and how you ride, and we'll set it up from there.

Hill City Power Upgrades: Torque and Throttle

Torque Link remapping gives stronger torque, quicker throttle response and more power where you need it. It's a smarter tune, done in-house.

We sell and install aftermarket parts for ATV upgrades and UTV upgrades, and we're a Duraclutch dealer. We'll talk through the options before you spend anything.

Sleds and Plows for a Hill Lake Winter

Hill Lake is about 2 miles long and roughly 50 feet deep, and once it freezes, winter work starts. Our snowmobile repair covers engines, clutching and shocks, and we do snowmobile tuning in-house. Shocks can come in off the sled.

For driveways, we sell, install and repair ATV and UTV plows from KFI, Warn and Eagle, plus the winch and electrical work.

Hill City Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles and Snow Tracks

Hill River State Forest in Aitkin County has about 7 miles open to Class I and II OHVs and dirt bikes, plus snowmobiling. We handle dirt bike repair (maintenance, tires, motor rebuilds), motorcycle repair on all major brands, and wheel lacing and truing for spoked wheels.

Want your dirt bike on the snow? We install dirt-to-snow track kits, Camso conversions that let a dirt bike ride snow.

As a Western Power Sports dealer, we order powersports parts and off-road equipment: tires, wheels, tracks, suspension kits and components, cables, brakes, drive parts, and ATV and UTV accessories.

Bring the old part or the part number, and we can install the new one here.
